Love is on stage at American Players Theatre

For working theater artists, having steady work can mean not being able to settle down in one place for very long.

But for the folks at the American Players Theatre in Spring Green, the unique repertory format of the theatrical season makes for the chance to stay in one place and make a life for themselves.

APT “is isolated in the middle of the countryside with the ability to let go of a lot of other things. You can focus on the work,” artistic director Brenda DeVita said. “You live and breathe the work with these other people for a concentrated amount of time which creates deep relationships.”

From recent company additions to APT mainstays, romance finds its way up the hill at the theater and makes itself at home for the long haul.
