Community Engagement

Art for Everyone

The goal of American Players Theatre’s Community Engagement program is to expand APT’s audience through outreach to racially diverse community members, patrons under the age of 40 and those experiencing economic or accessibility barriers that may have affected their ability to attend performances.

These goals are accomplished through:

  • Offering opportunities for discounted group and individual tickets, regional community events and targeted Community performances.
  • Connecting with partners who can serve as bridges to those communities that we may not have established relationships with.
  • Engaging with the communities surrounding APT to make sure we continue to strengthen those existing relationships through off-site events and participation in partner-sponsored activities.
