Since we can’t be together in person, APT’s Core Company - plus a few friends - have set out to make online content. And we’re discovering that their great skill on stage transfers very well to a Zoom Room. APT has partnered with PBS Wisconsin to bring you “Out of the Woods,” a Virtual Play Reading Series, that is available on their website. Read the details here.
But for our donors, we’ve got extra, just for you: More play readings – including a series of one acts and an all-female version of Cymbeline, and a few other surprises that are making their way through the creative hopper.

Each season poster is a delightful memento from the season and a loving nod to APT’s glorious Book of Summer. Framed, it makes a wonderful gift for your theater-going friend. Or, just collect them each year as a way to recall all of the magnificent memories made in our woods.

Seeing the shows is what it’s all about, right? That’s why early access to ticket ordering is one of our most popular benefits. Here’s how it works:
Donors of $1,000+ (cumulative gifts between Jan 1-Dec 31) get access to order tickets 2 days prior to our returning patrons. Tickets can be ordered on line, in person, or over the phone.
Donors of $5,000+ (cumulative gifts between Jan 1-Dec 31) have the opportunity to sign up for a concierge ticket appointment with our box office staff. This is the earliest availability for your favorite seating locations. If a concierge appointment doesn’t fit your schedule, you’ll still be able to order three days prior to returning patrons, either on line, in person, or over the phone.
Available with annual gifts of $250 or more
There’s nothing we like more than spending time with those of you who make our work and our woods possible! We enjoy getting to know you better and giving you a chance to get to meet and chat with the artists that make the magic happen.
Donors of $250+ annually are invited to select one of our in-season donor appreciation events that take place throughout the summer.
Donors of $500+ annually are also invited to select one of our pre-season donor appreciation events, to learn first-hand from our artists what’s in store for the upcoming season.
Some donors may opt to receive APT tickets.*
Each is valued at $40 for tax purposes, and their value is not deductible under law. Tickets are available by giving level as follows:
*Gifts made through Donor Advised Funds or Individual Retirement Funds are not eligible for ticket benefits.

We are honored to recognize donors who contribute $100 or more annually* in our season playbill. If you prefer to remain anonymous, just let us know.
* Playbill recognition takes into account gifts given between May 1 of the previous year and April 30 of the current year.
While it is rarely the reason for our patrons’ generosity, there are certain tax benefits to contributing to APT, particularly in 2020, due to provisions in the Federal COVID-19 bill (commonly referred to as the CARES Act).
