Specially priced tickets are available for groups of 20 or more to attend a performance. Group ticket prices vary depending on the day of the week and level of seating. Rates are available for both the 1089-seat Hill and 201-seat Touchstone Theatres.
APT offers additional discounts for student groups for our student matinee series in the fall and for select performances during the season. For more information, please visit our Student Matinee page.
Our group policies allow for some flexibility in finalizing your numbers and making payments. We will work with a representative from your organization or group to plan your visit and coordinate your ticket purchase. All tickets are subject to availability, so group tickets must be booked in advance to ensure your seats. Your representative will sign a contract and pay a non-refundable deposit based on the estimated number of tickets at the time of booking.
You may adjust your group’s ticket count up until two weeks before the performance, but the total ticket count cannot drop by more than 20% of the original booking number. Any additional tickets are subject to availability. The final ticket count and payment are due two weeks before the date of the performance. Tickets are non-refundable, and group tickets cannot be exchanged once the final payment is made. Please note: there is a $20 handling charge per order.
Enjoying a picnic before the show is a favorite part of the APT experience. Bring your own meal or order APT's picnic dinners catered in by Hubbard Avenue Diner.
Please order group picnics by calling the Box Office at least two weeks prior to your visit. We can also coordinate bulk beverage orders with our concession stand to ensure that everything is ready when your group arrives.
APT does not offer catering, but you’re welcome to use a caterer of your choice. Caterers must be approved in advance and provide proof of insurance. Contact the Box Office for more information. We strongly recommend renting a shelter so that your caterer has a place to set up with easy access by vehicle and use of electricity if necessary.
There are two covered shelters on the picnic grounds which may be reserved for your group, for a rental fee of $150.
If you wish to rent a shelter, please contact the Box Office well in advance - when not reserved, covered picnicking areas are available for any picnickers on a first-come basis. Open-air picnic tables may be reserved for groups of 20 or more at no charge by contacting the Box Office.
Please let the Box Office know if your group will be traveling by bus or coach so that we can reserve space in the parking lot. Our parking staff will provide directions when you arrive and help you position the bus for an easy departure. We recommend that buses arrive at least 45 minutes to one hour in advance of the performance to allow ample time to park and for your group to reach the theater. Bus parking is approximately 50 to 100 yards from the shuttles to the theaters. If any members of your party need assistance getting from the bus to the shuttle, please let us know in advance.
