Celebrate the Turning Seasons in Spring Green

Celebrate the Turning Seasons in Spring Green
We're so excited to launch our "If These Trees Could Talk" events this weekend. In honor of this momentous debut, we wanted to share some of the other lovely and unique shops, restaurants and attractions in the Spring Green area that would pair well with your visit to APT. We've all been cooped up just a little too long. Now is the perfect time take in a Driftless autumn, and to take advantage of the time we have left before the snow blows. For more information, including deals from local businesses, visit our Dine, Shop, Explore page before you head our way. And if you haven't yet, make sure and get your tour tickets.

Tracy Michelle Arnold's APT Story

Tracy Michelle Arnold's APT Story
We can't get enough of Core Company Actor Tracy Michelle Arnold, and from what we've heard over the years, neither can you. You may have seen her play Cleopatra and Kate; Blanche DuBois and Linda Loman.  But what you may not know is that in the summer of 2005 - a season that saw her cast as the titular character in Shaw's Candida and opposite Jim DeVita as Lady Macbeth - she was in a very real fight for her life.

Or as Core Company Actor Gavin Lawrence put it "She is a boss."

Over the course of the last few months, we talked to a number of APT actors and artists about the play-reading series, the pandemic and working on a Zoom stage. So enjoy this little peek behind the Zoom curtain with tidbits on each of the six play readings from the amazing folks who worked on them.

'An Improbable Fiction' and A Fond Farewell
Not only is An Improbable Fiction a world-premiere by APT company member James DeVita, it is a celebration of all things Shakespeare, featuring some of your favorite characters in a brand new set of circumstances. It is charming and poignant, and not to be missed. We chatted with playwright Jim DeVita and actor Brian Mani who plays Falstaff, about this brand new play and the conclusion of the Out of the Woods play-reading series.
