GalaPro Captioning

APT is pleased to offer English language closed captioning for select performances, for patrons who are D/deaf, hard of hearing, or would benefit from seeing the text captions along with watching the performance. Captioning is not required for hearing individuals to enjoy these productions.

Please note: GalaPro Captioning will be available only for performances of Much Ado About Nothing and King Lear from August 20 - September 29, 2024.

How to Access GalaPro Captioning

If you're planning to use GalaPro on APT's device, or on your own personal device, please plan to arrive in the Hill Theatre lobby at least 25 minutes before show time in case you need assistance.

Using APT's Devices

  • Upon arrival in the Hill Theatre Lobby, visit the Information Window to receive your device.
  • Devices are pre-loaded with the GalaPro app, and ready to use.
  • Device holders are also available.

Using a Personal Device

  • Download the GalaPro app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Important note: Please download, install and create a login for the GalaPro app before leaving for APT. WiFi and cellular coverage may be limited at the theater.
  • Please fully charge your device before your arrival at the theater.
  • See instructions below for how to use GalaPro.
