Tell us a little about Brewery Pottery! What do you offer customers?
Brewery Pottery, a one-of-a-kind, gallery, is housed within a rambling former 1850s brewery nestled on the edge of charming Mineral Point - just a short (and beautiful) drive from Spring Green. Brewery Pottery features the work of over 200 distinctive artists as well as a full line of pottery made in house. Items from from local and regional craftspeople as well as global fair trade items are available daily. Visitors to the gallery are able (and encouraged!) to step inside and explore the working pottery studio located within the gallery.

What is the history of your business? When was it established, and where did you get the idea?
Brewery Pottery (the brick and mortar gallery) was born in 1994, but the seeds were planted a few decades earlier in the mid 1970s when owners and artists, Diana and Tom Johnston, fell in love with pottery and became full time potters. They created (and continue to create!) full lines of wheel thrown and slab built ceramic pieces in both stoneware and porcelain. Along the way, their daughter Claire joined the pottery business and today the three of them enjoy working and collaborating daily in the studio and gallery. In addition to all the pottery made in house, Brewery Pottery is proud to carry the works of over 200 distinctive artists.

What will customers enjoy most about your business, and why?
Visitors of Brewery Pottery love the unique blend of art and history found walking through doors of the rambling old building filled with treasures just waiting to be discovered. Visitors love finding a large selection of excellently crafted pieces in a friendly and welcoming environment. Pieces are carefully selected for the kitchen, home, and garden, and are available in wide variety of price points to suit any budget. Everything from pottery, paintings, and sculptures to jewelry and wearables, toys and games, wood, glass, and more can be found throughout the gallery.
