A director at APT quickly set her straight.

“He said, ‘I don’t want to work with Carrie the good student,” Coon told an audience in APT’s Touchstone Theatre on Friday afternoon. “’I want to work with Carrie the artist.’”

“It was an extraordinary time in my life,” she enthused. “Of course I’m back here!”
