American Players Theatre's 2019 season in Spring Green will feature August Wilson's "Fences" and Ibsen's feminist drama "A Doll's House" — plus contemporary playwright Lucas Hnath's sequel, "A Doll's House, Part 2."

APT announced an eight-show lineup Monday for its 40th season, running from June 8 to Oct. 6, 2019. It will announce a ninth show for October-November 2019 at a later time.

Yes, there will be Shakespeare. APT will perform "Macbeth" and "Twelfth Night," plus Lauren Gunderson's "The Book of Will," a comedy about the making of the First Folio (and consequently the preserving of Shakespeare's plays for our enjoyment).
