2018 bio: Previously for APT Michael has designed Death of a Salesman, The Admirable Crichton, Measure For Measure, The Playboy of the Western World, The Cherry Orchard and Richard II. Regional Theaters and Opera include, among others: Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Actor's Theatre of Louisville, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, San Jose Opera, Denver Center Theatre Company, Ebony Repertory Theatre, Chicago Opera Theater, Repertory Theatre of Saint Louis, Virginia Opera, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Northern Stage and The Williamstown Theatre Festival. Upcoming projects include Bernstein’s Candide for the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, A Christmas Story and Osolo for the Repertory Theatre of Saint Louis, and Trick or Treat for 59E59 Theaters, NYC and Northern Stage. In addition to his professional work, Michael is a Professor at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire, where he teaches and mentors future theater artists. He is a proud member of United Scenic Artists Local 829 and a member of the United States Institute for Theatre Technology.
