David Sabbagh

Sound Engineer

David Sabbagh is excited to return to APT for his second season! He previously worked as the Sound Assistant during the 2022 season. David was born in Cleveland, OH and raised in Winston-Salem, NC. He holds a BA in Theatre Design/Technology from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. Previous professional work includes positions at Porchlight Music Theatre in Chicago (Audio Assistant for Rent and Cabaret), Florida Studio Theatre in Sarasota (Sound/Projections designer for Kunstler, Sound Engineer for Bright Star and Always, Patsy Cline, and Stage Manager for Guitar Girls), Busch Gardens Williamsburg (Entertainment Technician), and Barter Theatre in Abingdon, VA (Production Intern). He has also worked at small professional and community theatres throughout Northwestern NC.
