David Kraemer

Campion Jesuit High School 1959

Marquette University Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 1964

First Lieutenant in the Army Corps of Engineers from 1964 to 1966

Started my employment with Edward Kraemer in September of 1966 and fully retired in December of 2008

Began as an engineer and then became a quarry manager in Toledo, Ohio in 1966

Worked in various capacities from 1966 to 1986

Became President of the Wisconsin Transportation Builders Association from 1981 to 1982.

Became President and CEO in February of 1986 when my father and I purchased the whole company with a leveraged buyout

December 1987 Became sole owner of the company (EKS)

Became President of American Players Theater in spring of 1987 and still serve as its President

Became chairman of the American Road and Transportation Builders Association; the largest transportation advocate in Washington, D.C from 1998 to 1999.
