Director, Love's Labour's Lost

Brenda joined APT in 1995 as Company Manager. She was soon promoted to Casting Director and then became the Associate Artistic Director in 2004. She was appointed Artistic Director in 2014. Brenda has a BA in Theatre from the University of Northern Iowa. She studied at the Professional Theatre Training Program at the University of Delaware. She trained with Tadashi Suzuki in Japan and worked many years as a professional actress. Her directing credits include Shakespeare’s Will, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, The Year of Magical Thinking, Mary’s Wedding, Doll’s House Pt. 2 and Born Yesterday for APT, The Other Place for Forward Theater Company and The Seagull for University of California—San Diego. Thrilled to be tackling her first Shakespeare here at home in the woods, she looks forward to working with her friends on Love’s Labour’s Lost.
