Aurora Real de Asua

Aurora Real de Asua is an actor, playwright, and filmmaker based in New York City. Previous acting credits include "The Christmas Carol" and "The Wolves (Goodman Theatre), "The Wickhams" (Northlight), "The Adventures of Augie March" (Court Theatre), "Top Girls" (Remy Bumppo), "Pipeline" (Victory Gardens), "The Firebirds Take the Field" (Rivendell), as well as work with Chicago Shakespeare Theatre and Metropolis Performing Arts Center. Her plays have been developed at The Playwright's Realm, sideshow theatre, Victory Gardens, Rivendell, Chicago Children's Theatre, and Greenhouse Theatre. She is an Elizabeth George commission at South Coast Repertory Theatre. She received a BA in theatre from Northwestern University, and is currently an MFA candidate in film at Columbia University.
