Ashley Smith Voice and Text Coach for The Circle, Exits and Entrances Ashley Smith has served as voice, text, and dialect coach for the world premiere of THE GOOD NEGRO (New York’s Public Theatre and Dallas Theater Center), the Chicago premiere of Athol Fugard’s MY CHILDREN! MY AFRICA! (Victory Gardens Theatre), MY FAIR LADY (Portland Center Stage and Dallas Theater Center), and CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF (Dallas Theater Center).  New York acting credits include the Public Theatre, Symphony Space, and Jean Cocteau Repertory.  Regional acting credits include Utah Shakespearean Festival (four seasons), Great Lakes Theatre Festival, Dallas Theater Center, and Idaho Shakespeare Festival.  He has served on the theatre faculty at Southern Methodist University for seven years. He holds an M.F.A. in Acting from the University of Delaware and is certified in Roy Hart voice work.  He is a member of the Centre Artistique International Roy Hart, Actors’ Equity Association, and the Voice and Speech Trainers Association.
