A roundup of where to see some of your faves this APT off season.

Tracy Michelle Arnold

I’ll be returning to Asolo Rep in Sarasota, Florida to do Roe Feb-April.

Kelsey Brennan

I’m playing Corinne in Puff: Believe it or not, an obscure 19th century French satire written by Eugene Scribe and translated by Ranjit Bolt at Remy Bumppo in Chicago. Nov 27-Jan 7.

Nate Burger

I'll be in Sarasota, Florida all winter alongside Tracy Arnold and Laura Rook performing as Ned Alleyn in Shakespeare in Love and Flip Benham and others in Lisa Loomer's new play Roe, both at Asolo Repertory Theatre. Then I'll be back in April to stand up alongside my favorite Romeo, Chris Sheard, in his wedding before heading back to Spring Green to start the summer.

David Daniel

I will be playing Ebenezer Scrooge in Children’s Theater of Madison’s A Christmas Carol directed by James Ridge and adapted by Colleen Madden.

Sarah Day

In December, I will be in Sheboygan at the John Michael Kohler Art Center with Brian Mani performing in The Unexpected Man. And in January and February I will be in Exit Strategy at Forward Theater in Madison.

Jim DeVita

I am in Chicago doing Eugene O’Neill’s A Moon for the Misbegotten. Runs from February 7 - March 18, with a possible one-week extension.

Tim Gittings

You can catch me tending bar at The Shed and directing The Tempest at Middleton High School. Actually, you should all come see The Tempest when it goes up in February because these young performers are really good and they love the work. They get it, and I really like them.

Colleen Madden

I'm performing at The Milwaukee Repertory Theater, doing a show called Black Pearl Sings, in January/February. Then I'll be at Chamber Theatre doing Doubt in April. That's me.

Brian Mani

I will be playing Paul in The Unexpected Man alongside Sarah Day at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center in Sheboygan, then Sen. Higgins in Alabama Story with the Clarence Brown Theater in Knoxville, Tennessee in February. In April, I'll be back in Madison playing Jon in Marjorie Prime with Forward Theater Company.

Melisa Pereyra

I will be playing Lucia in Tanya Saracho’s two person play Fade at the Dallas Theatre Center. And in January, I will continue writing my play Lines which is being produced in the spring with performances April 19-29. This is a dream project that I have been working on over the past year alongside women I admire; Malkia Stampley, Olivia Dawson, Atra Asdou, and Aidaa Peerzada. Lines will mark my directing debut with Theatre LILA. The story centers around the collective and individual experiences of women of color by placing us at the center of the narrative. You will meet five womyn on a journey to Somewhere; a place where questions of race and identity propels them to find their voices thru poetry, prose, music, and ourselves. Get your tickets and join us on this adventure! With so many amazing womyn on our creative team, it is truly destined for a thrilling night at the theatre.

James Ridge

Directing A Christmas Carol for Children's Theater of Madison with David Daniel as Scrooge, as well as Casey Hoekstra, Andrea San Miguel, Rob Doyle, Nicole Tilford and Paula, Declan, Nicholas, and Isaac Daniel. And I'll be performing in Our Town at Milwaukee Rep in April/May.

Jonathan Smoots

I’m doing A Christmas Carol at Milwaukee Rep as Marley’s Ghost, and then a fascinating and funny play, involving Shakespeare’s acting company! I play Richard Burbage, Shakespeare’s leading man. Its called Equivocation at Next Act Theater February 1 - 25. And then I'll be in Our Town at Milwaukee Repertory Theater, with my amazing wife Laura Gordon who'll be playing the Stage Manager. Happy Winter!

Marcus Truschinski
