1995: Brenda DeVita joins the artistic staff
June 1995: Grand opening of patron restrooms
April 21, 1996: Long-time APT actor Stephen Hemming passes away
June 1996: The Take the Stage Campaign allows APT to reconstruct the stage, build a new production booth, expand the lobby, add a new concession area and The Players Market gift shop, as well as retire debt
September 1996: APT completes repayment for the Community Development Block Grant loan it needed to reopen its doors ten years prior
June 1999: APT acquires 3/4 of an acre along County Highway C, saving the land from possible development
December 1999: APT creates its first core company of actors
