Kaycee Swierc (She/Her)
Assistant Director, Much Ado About Nothing
Kaycee Swierc (she/her) is a director, producer, and artistic collaborator. Kaycee is a John Wells Directing Fellow at Carnegie Mellon University (Class of 2026). Previously, Kaycee was the Special Assistant to the Artistic Director (Diane Paulus) and Executive Team at the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University. While at A.R.T. she also assistant directed Tony Award-winning Jagged Little Pill on Broadway and the North American Tour, WILD at the A.R.T., and supported other productions such as 1776, Waitress, Becoming a Man, and several other projects. Other directing credits include: Beading Columbus (National Women’s Theater Festival), The Bowels (National Women’s Theater Festival), Webster’s Bitch (National Women’s Theater Festival), Timebomb (National Women’s Theater Festival), Almost, Maine (Texas State University), The Vagina Monologues (Queer Theater Texas), and Cabaret (Assistant Director - Texas State University). Kaycee served as a season casting director (over 50 plays) and producer at the National Women’s Theater Festival. In 2020, Kaycee produced several virtual fundraiser cabarets to amplify voices and raise funds for social justice causes (Georgia Stand Up, Black Lives Matter, National Organization for Women). She also served on the Arts for Biden/Harris team, where she produced a series entitled "Let's Talk Latino Vote" with celebrities and pivotal political minds to discuss the importance of the Latino vote in the 2020 election.
