Dennis Johnson

Dennis Johnson Assistant Director, Major Barbara Dennis is thrilled to be working on his first show with American Players Theatre. Dennis lives in Milwaukee, where he has worked with Renaissance Theaterworks, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, First Stage Children’s Theater, and Skylight Opera Theatre. He is a co-founder and the Artistic Director of UPROOTED theatre. Next season Dennis will direct UPROOTED’s original cabaret in the fall, Crumbs From the Table of Joy as an artistic collaboration with Renaissance Theaterworks, and Neil Haven’s Pink Champagne in collaboration with the Milwaukee Gay Arts Center.
