What's Special about Nineteen09?
As APT-goers head west, we're a perfect stop for a glass of wine or charcuterie to or from the show. We're happy to pack a basket; a bottle of wine, cheese, meat, fruit and a sweet treat. Simply call ahead!

Our intention at Nineteen09 is to provide an inviting space for you to enjoy an afternoon or evening with a good glass of wine (bottle of beer or mocktail) in the company of your friends and family. We aim to provide high-quality wine, domestic and craft beer, “pour over” cocktails, spiked seltzers, mocktails and non-alcoholic beer, a delicious menu of local charcuterie, unique gifts and a full schedule of interesting workshops and events. Our patio is large and welcoming and offers a full schedule of live music on Thursday nights throughout the summer. We specialize in helping you host private events such as baby or bridal showers, birthday parties, office/work outings, anniversary celebrations and just about anything you can think of. Located in the heart of Cross Plains, just 14 short miles west of the Capital steps, this historic building offers an escape from the everyday. Join us.

Where did you come up with the name for your business?
Nineteen09 is named after the street address...easy to find us!

Tell us a little about the history of Nineteen09.
IT ALL STARTED IN 1854…but for us, around 2005. There’s something about this building. Ask anyone that’s been in this town for more than 20 years…it’s a little mysterious, somewhat curious and definitely intriguing. Our charmed little life has taken us up and down and all around, but Cross Plains has always been home. For decades we have driven down Main Street wondering about this charming stone building. “Oh, the possibilities” would run through our heads. Until one day I saw the “sign”. A few short months later we welcomed this building as our new baby. So, here we are. We have a big dream to bring a welcoming space to our neighbors, friends and family to gather, gift and grow.
