Silver Star Bed & Breakfast is celebrating 30 years of hosting guests journeying to the Driftless area from near and far. About Silver Star Bed and Breakfast
The Silver Star Inn is a quiet slice of paradise located in the Driftless area of Wisconsin. We offer 10 unique guest rooms with ensuite bathrooms, plenty of gathering spaces, hearty delicious breakfasts, and miles of trails to hike. The Bed and Breakfast is celebrating its 30th year hosting visitors from near and far, who venture to the area to experience all that Southwestern Wisconsin has to offer.
A Driftless Tradition
The Inn has become a home away from home, a sanctuary for the guests who frequent the American Players Theatre. Theatre goers love to recap and discuss the plays they've seen, and there is no place better to find like-minded individuals than at breakfast! Many a lively discussion can be overheard in the expansive dining room, or on the wrap-around deck as our guests enjoy meeting and making new friends over coffee.
The Silver Star Inn gives theatre goers and tourists a place to rest up and relax. Nestled among the rolling hills of the Driftless, the B&B immerses its guests in nature, offering blooming prairies, busy birdfeeders, bright flowers, and endless birdsong. The sounds of city life are replaced by the constant buzz of dozens of hummingbirds visiting our front porch feeders. You will find the Silver Star to be a welcome quiet refuge in which to recharge your batteries after visiting the many attractions the area offers.
A Signature Touch
We grow many of the fruits and vegetables that appear on your plates seasonally for breakfast. We begin with asparagus, rhubarb and strawberries in the spring, transitioning to tomatoes, peaches, cherries, blueberries, wild blackberries, and raspberries for the summer months. The season culminates with zucchini, apples, pears, acorn and butternut squash in the fall. All of our breakfasts include the freshest eggs, laid by our very own pampered hens!
