APT Talkbacks To Go

We now have a new way to enhance your theatre going experience, a series of podcasts called APT Talkbacks to Go. Those who have been to APT often invoke the word "magical." Escaping into the woods takes you away to someplace special, leaving the busy, busy world behind, if only for an evening. But getting here is a bit more than a hop, skip and a jump for most. While the scenic drive is part of the APT experience, we thought it might be even better with accompaniment. With the assistance of dear friends, we have created APT Talkbacks to Go, a series of podcasts available for free download or purchase on CD in the gift shop. These podcasts offer a glimpse into the ideas behind the plays. Our narrator, Carol 'Orange' Schroeder, sits down with members of a production - actors, directors, sound designers, etc. - for some artistic illumination. Each podcast runs about 20 minutes and provides a unique look into an element of the play that we may find ourselves wondering about, or sheds light on ideas that we may never had considered in the first place. Whether you are traveling into the woods or heading home, these podcasts are a simple way make your evening of theatre a bit more insightful and extend the magical experience that is APT.
