Dramaturg, A Phoenix Too Frequent

Victoria P. Lantz is a scholar, dramaturg, and artist living in East Texas, teaching at Sam Houston State University, where she also directs/devises. In 2019, she did dramaturgical work for APT's Man of Destiny and was the production dramaturg for A Doll's House, and is thrilled to be back this season. When not teaching and doing dramaturgy, Vicky works on performance art about the female body and writing on tourism, theatre, and performance. She recently published an article in The Journal of Popular Culture and a book chapter in Performance and the Disney Theme Park Experience: The Tourist as Actor. Vicky is the Representation, Equity, and Diversity Co-Chair for KCACTF Region 6. She holds a PhD in Theatre from UW-Madison.
