Takeshi is returning for the 17th season with APT where he has recently designed MacBeth, Our Country’s Good, A View From the Bridge and Mary’s Wedding. Kata has designed over 200 theatrical productions including plays, musicals, operas and dance. Recent Projects include Derren Brown: Secret (Broadway), Bug (Steppenwolf), Angels in America (Berkeley Rep), Cambodian Rock Band and Until the Flood. Takeshi has won an Obie and Jeff awards and has been nominated for Drama Desk, Ovation, San Francisco Critics Circle, TBA, Eliot Norton and Barrymore awards. He is an Associate Professor at University of Southern California, School of Dramatic Arts.
