Shana Cooper’s directing credits include classics and new work across the country from New York at Theatre For A New Audience to The Old Globe and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Other directing credits include American Repertory Theater, Chicago Shakes, American Conservatory Theater, The Coop (off-Broadway), Yale Rep, Woolly Mammoth, Hudson Valley Shakes, Court Theatre, Studio Theater, Seattle Rep, Cal Shakes, and Playmakers Rep. Ms. Cooper is an associate professor for Northwestern University’s Directing M.F.A. program, a company member at Woolly Mammoth and served as Associate Artistic Director of Cal Shakes (2000 to 2004). She received a 2014 Leadership U Grant, funded by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and administered by TCG; a 2010 Princess Grace Award; a Julian Milton Kaufman Memorial Prize from Yale School of Drama; and a Drama League Directing Fellowship. M.F.A.
