Rachel Anne Healy (Costume Designer) has enjoyed 21 Seasons at American Players Theatre and continues with Dancing at Lughnasa. A few of her previous credits with APT include: The Cherry Orchard, Twelfth Night, The Night of the Iguana, The Matchmaker, Another Part of the Forest, King Lear, The Night of the Iguana, Dangerous Liaisons, Fences, and last seasons Once Upon a Bridge. Based in Chicago, Ms. Healy’s costume designs have been seen on numerous stages including The Goodman Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Writers Theatre, The Court Theatre, Northlight Theatre, Timeline Theatre, Drury Lane Theatre, The Next Theatre, Victory Gardens and Chicago Children's Theatre. Regionally, she has designed with The Alley Theatre, Hartford Stage, The Huntington, Alliance Theatre, Arizona Theatre Co, Long Wharf Theatre, Delaware Theatre Company, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, First Stage Children’s Theatre of Milwaukee, and Indiana Repertory Theatre. Ms. Healy is also a professor at Loyola University where she teaches Theatrical Design, Make-up, and Puppetry. Ms. Healy would like to take this moment to sing the praises of one of her most cherished collaborators at APT, milliner, Michael Hansen.
