Lighting Design, The Game of Love and Chance
Noele is happy to be returning for her sixth season at APT. Scenery and lighting design includes, The Flying Dutchman, Giulio Cesare in Egitto, Albert Herring, Dido and Aeneas, Venus and Adonis, Rio de Sangre, Macbeth, Tristan und Isolde and Magic Flute (Florentine Opera), Rape of Lucretia (Toledo Opera), Pagliacci (Opera Columbus), Mirandolina (Milwaukee Rep), lighting and scenic realization for Meredith Monk’s international tours of mercy & impermanence. Noele’s lighting has appeared on stage at Carnegie Hall, The Brooklyn Academy of Music, Sydney Opera House, Opera Ontario, Portland Opera, Vancouver Opera, New Orleans Opera, Madison Opera, Nashville Opera, Jeff Daniel's Purple Rose Theater and Skylight Music Theatre. As Lighting Director for Houston Grand Opera, she supervised lighting for over 50 operas and designed such productions as Andrei Serban’s Elektra, Dr. Jonathan Miller’s Der Rosenkavalier, Aida and the world premieres of Harvey Milk, Desert of Roses and Dracula Diary.
