Kailey Azure Green

Assistant Director, The Rivals

This is Kailey Azure Green’s (they/them) first season with APT and they are very grateful to be here. Kailey is a non-binary DC based actor, intimacy choreographer, fight director, and choreographer, as well as the Founding Artistic Director of Grassroots Shakespeare DC. Their previous choreography credits include Hedwig and the Angry Inch (An Other Theatre Company) Men I’m Not Married To (Santa Cruz Shakespeare Company), and Cabaret (UVU); previous fight director credits include Newsies (Scera Theater), Julius Caesar (UVU), Romeo and Juliet (Grassroots Shakespeare Company); previous intimacy choreography credits include Much Ado About Nothing (Grassroots Shakespeare DC) and The Rover (UVU). Their previous acting credits include Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet (Chesapeake Shakespeare Company), Ophelia in Hamlet (Grassroots Shakespeare DC), Anybodys in West Side Story (The Grand Theatre), and Moth in Love Labours Lost (Santa Cruz Shakespeare). Kailey is also the Executive Assistant and Assistant Faculty for Theatrical Intimacy Education.
