Jem Tepe is a costume designer, maker, and wardrobe technician born, raised, and currently living in Queens, NY. He graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 2024 with a BFA in Costume Design. He recently designed for the award-winning new play Charity Case at New York Theater Festival (2025). Other recent work has included dressing and stitching at Playwrights Horizons and Barrington Stage Company. As a trans man, he is passionate about working with other queer artists and putting queer bodies onstage.
