Carrie has served as APT’s Managing Director since 2015. Originally from Platteville, Carrie’s career in professional theater has spanned over 20 years and taken her around the Midwest and the East Coast. She has also served as Managing Director of Milwaukee Shakespeare, Associate Managing Director of Yale Rep, and has worked in administrative and artistic capacities at Milwaukee Rep, First Stage Children’s Theater, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Manhattan Theatre Club, and Chicago Shakespeare, among others. Her academic work includes three years on the faculty at Davidson College, several seasons producing theater and dance at the University of Minnesota, and a post teaching producing theater at UW- Madison. She holds a BA in Theatre History from Davidson College and an MFA from Yale School of Drama and resides in Spring Green with her family.
