This is Bron's third season interpreting for APT. Bron first encountered ASL in childhood, but did not enter the Deaf community or interpreting until she moved to Chicago in 2014. She holds a BA in Theater from the College of Wooster (2012), a BA in ASL-English Interpreting from Columbia College Chicago (2019), her RID/CASLI National Interpreter Certification (2022), and advanced licenses in Illinois and Wisconsin. Bron worked in props and stage management all over the Midwest including Tulsa Opera, Lexington Children’s Theater, and Chicago Shakespeare Theater. She now freelance interprets all over Chicagoland and Wisconsin and mentors emerging interpreting students. Her theatrical interpreting work encompasses productions with Goodman Theater, Steppenwolf, Marcus Center, and others. When not interpreting, Bron is an active member of Windy City Performing Arts, Chicago's oldest LGBTQIA choir.
