Politics Gone Wilde

When Wilde sets his sights on scandal, you know you're in for a party - one with enough piercing wit and frothy banter to tie you in stitches. Indeed, when the subject du jour is political posturing among the London elite, the frivolous folks may just have the most sense, while their more appearance-conscious peers become ever more ridiculous. An effervescent comedy with a hit of bitters, a cocktail our players know just how to mix.

Play Summary

Deception and blackmail are just the beginning of this witty Wildean classic. Over the course of 24 hours, Mrs. Chiltern goes to great (read: ridiculous) lengths to save her husband's political career in the face of an impending scandal. A funny and thoughtful comedy about the obstacles she's willing to hurdle to save a loved one's reputation – both at large and in her own mind.

Featuring Tracy Michelle Arnold, David Daniel, Tim Gittings, Colleen Madden, Greta Oglesby, Cristina Panfilio, John Pribyl, Jonathan Smoots & Marcus Truschinski.

Runs June through September
