A Midsummer Night's Dream
Three Pucks:  Midsummer is an APT classic, and we happen to have the last three people to play Puck still in our acting company. Join James Ridge (Puck 2000), Marcus Truschinski (Puck 2008) and current Puck Cristina Panfilio for a fun discussion about the similarities, differences and why we can watch this certain mischievous fairy again and again.

Saturday, July 29 at 12:00 pm
Cyrano de Bergerac
James DeVita has loved this story since he first read it when he was eight years old. Well, it was in a comic book, but still. Now he has adapted and directed it at APT. He’ll talk about his process bringing the popular French romance to the stage, and why this story captivates him still – all these years later.

A Flea in Her Ear
It’s no doubt this play is funny. But how do you take a 100-year-old play that makes fun of everyone and see it through a 21st-century lens? What are the considerations? Are the same things funny? Join Director David Frank and cast members Kelsey Brennan, David Daniel and Marcus Truschinski for a semi-serious look at this very funny comedy.

Sunday, August 27 at 4:00 pm
Pericles, Prince of Tyre
The most playful of Shakespeare's later plays, Pericles is an epic romp that gathers a Medieval poet, Mediterranean pirates, virtuous prostitutes, evil foster parents, a mostly dead wife and meddling gods into a captivating tale of loss and reunion. Along with Joshua Calhoun, we will explore Pericles' quirky brilliance and think about how it re-examines the themes that define Shakespeare's more well-known plays such as Macbeth, Twelfth Night, King Lear, and The Tempest.
