SHARIBA RIVERS is a Chicago girl with a southern accent. Originally from Louisiana, Shariba moved to Chicago 20 years ago but still keeps the creole seasoning nearby and has never gotten accustomed to the winters! For the past 15 years, Shariba has appeared on stages across Chicago, including Goodman, TimeLine, and Raven Theatres, and she has stopped in to play in Milwaukee, Portland, Rochester, and Hilton Head. Her most recent appearance was as Rose in The Children at Next Act Theatre in Milwaukee. Shariba is thrilled to continue her Wisconsin journey by spending this season in beautiful Spring Green with such lovely people. Shariba is the 2024 3Arts Stan Lipkin & Evelyn Appell Lipkin award winner and has been listed as one of Newcity Stage's 50 Players in 2023 and again for 2025.
