This is Melisa’s 12th season con APT and she’s thrilled to be back as an Actor to her favorite place! At APT, Melisa directed Marisela Treviño Orta's Wolf at the Door in the Touchstone and was last seen as Helena in The River Bride, y Rosaline in Love’s Labour’s Lost. Some past roles at APT include: Imogen, Lady Macbeth, Juliet, Hermia, Rosalind, Isabella, Catherine in View from the Bridge. Selected Regional theatre credits: Huntington Theatre, Dallas Theater Center, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Lookingglass Theatre, Indiana Repertory Theatre, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, South Coast Repertory Theatre, Utah Shakespeare Festival, Illinois Shakespeare Festival. Melisa was the voice and likeness of AI Gabriela Castaneda in the Halo: Outpost Discovery experience, made her Broadway debut in Amy Herzog’s adaptation of A Doll’s House understudying Jessica Chastain directed by Jamie Lloyd, and will make her television debut on an acclaimed sci-fi series this coming year on Apple TV. Melisa is also an Assistant Professor at Northwestern University where she teaches Heightened Language and Acting Fundamentals. She is represented by Gray Talent Group.
