Marisa B. Tejeda

Marisa B. Tejeda (they/she) is absolutely elated to be joining the team at American Players Theatre this year! Although originally from the Twin Cities, they are currently based in Chicago and a recent graduate of the MFA Acting Program at University of Missouri, Kansas City/KC Rep. They have worked with various theatres across the country such as The Guthrie Theatre, Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, PigPen Theatre Company, KC Rep, LAByrinth Theater, Park Square Theatre, South Dakota Shakespeare Festival, Heart of America Shakespeare Festival, and many others. Also a musician/singer/songwriter, Marisa has toured nationally and has played on bills with bands like Snail Mail, Clairo and Empath.
