John Taylor Phillips

Actor / Assistant Director

John Taylor Phillips

Understudy, An Improbable Fiction; Rough Crossing

Assistant Director, The Taming of the Shrew

John is unreservedly grateful to spend his eleventh Summer with APT. Some of his favorite roles up the Hill have included Ed Devery in Born Yesterday, Feste in Twelfth Night, Kulygin in Three Sisters, De Guiche in Cyrano de Bergerac, Etienne in A Flea in Her Ear, and German Officer in The Devil's Disciple. A native Texan, John has worked in theaters all over the country, including The Goodman, The Folger, Chicago Shakespeare Company, Round House Theatre, Milwaukee Rep, Next Act, Utah Shakespeare Festival, and Dallas Theatre Center. He was that guy you saw that one time in that commercial for that thing, and yes, you're right... he was FBI Agent in Parkland.
