Attorney Beauregard William Patterson is Counsel at Fair Elections Center where he fights for the rights of voters across the country. He has extensive experience representing individuals, unions, nonprofits, and statewide elected officials in litigation upholding the U.S. and Wisconsin Constitutions and safeguarding our voting and civil rights. Beauregard believes that transparency, accountability, and fairness are core values for building a more just, democratic, and equitable society. To that end, he has fought for the rights of his clients in federal and state courtrooms in places like Arizona, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Wisconsin. And he has served as lead counsel in cases before the Seventh Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals, U.S. District Courts in Kentucky and Wisconsin, and trial and appellate courts throughout Wisconsin. A native Wisconsinite, Beauregard grew up in Minocqua and Wausau. He earned his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School and his B.A. in Political Science and History from Carroll University (formerly Carroll College). Beauregard first encountered APT on a high school field trip and has loved the theatre under the stars ever since. In addition to his legal practice and service as an APT board member, Beauregard also serves as a board member for the Wisconsin Democracy Campaign. He and his brilliant, lovely wife, Ashley, live in Fitchburg and look forward to every new season at APT.
