2011 Ticket and Rain Policies

Sales

All sales are final. No refunds are available. However, returned tickets may qualify as a tax-deductible donation if the Box Office is notified at least 1 hour in prior to show time. There is a $10 charge on all phone, group, online and mail orders.

Exchanges

Tickets may be exchanged by calling the Box Office no later than 4 p.m. the day before the performance. You must have you tickets in hand to make the exchange. Exchanges are for tickets of comparable or greater value, provided any additional value is paid, and good for the 2011 season only.

Rain

We never call off a show in advance. In the event of rain, every effort will be made to complete the performance, including playing in light rain. The decision to play or cancel will be made within approximately 45 minutes following the time that the production is held for rain. If the show is cancelled before the first act is complete, you may receive a refund or tickets for another 2011 performance (based on availability). If canceled after the first act is complete, there are no refunds but you may receive tickets to another 2011 performance (based on availability). No immediate refunds will be made. All 2011 refund claims must be received by November 2, 2011. APT will never make the decision to play or cancel before the scheduled performance time. Service charges are non-refundable.

Service Charge

The service charge on phone, group, online and mail orders is $10.00 per order.

Special Needs

Wheelchair seating and assisted listening devices are available. In order to inform the Box Office of any special requirements, please place your order by phone.

Children

Children under six are not permitted in the Theatres as a courtesy to our actors and other patrons.

Winter Ticket & Weather Policy

If a performance must be canceled due to extreme weather conditions, we will make every effort to reschedule it. Patrons may receive tickets for the make-up performance or any other performance of The Gift of the Magi, based on availability. If patrons cannot attend another performance, they may receive a refund or an exchange for the 2012 APT season.

If a weather cancelation is necessary, we will post the information on APT's website at www.americanplayers.org and will attempt to contact ticket holders by e-mail and/or phone.

If weather conditions are hazardous in your area but the show has not been canceled, you may call the Box Office up to one hour prior to show time to exchange for another performance, based on availability.
