Sample Language to Include APT in Your Will

The following is sample language you and your legal advisor may use to include a planned gift to APT as part of your will:
 

“I/we give and bequeath (describe bequest – percentage of estate or specific amount) to American Players Theatre, Spring Green, Wisconsin, for its general purposes (or specify purpose – examples are Education Program, Endowment Fund, Building Fund). “

If a gift of property, unless the property is useful to the Theatre, it will be sold and the net proceeds applied per the terms of the bequest.
“I give to American Players Theatre ___________________.”
 

Please note: before changing the language of your Will, we recommend that you discuss the proposed intent with American Players Theatre to make sure the proposed intent is consistent with the mission of the Theatre and that the amount of the bequest would be sufficient for the intended use.
