Welcome to the New APT Website

If you're reading this, you've found your way to the new APT website.
Welcome! We're proud to launch the new site, and we're looking forward to hearing what you think of it. So feel free to leave a comment and let us know what you think. We've tried to make it as user friendly as possible and include as much information as possible.
Still, we know we haven't included everything, and we'll be working to build out the site in the coming months. For instance, we'll be adding an archive of past APT productions, complete with cast and staff information and production photos. You might also notice that our people section is mostly names and titles right now. We'll be continuing to fill it out with bios and photos throughout the spring. So check back often.
Tickets aren't on sale yet (they go on sale to returning buyers on March 1 and everyone on April 12). We've still got a little work to do on that part of the site, but I think you'll be pleased. We'll keep the "choose your seat" features you've gotten to know, but hopefully make it even more user-friendly.
Finally, just wanted to point out that our web address has changed from www.playinthewoods.org to www.americanplayers.org. We've been thinking about doing that for a while, and this seemed like the right time. However, either address will still get you here.
We're looking forward to the season, and hope this site will get you in the mood. Let us know what you think.

Looks great! I'm not familiar with your operation, but I will be certain to keep visiting your site to learn more. Looks like a wonderful theatre.

A beautiful new site for a theater that has always produced stunning work! Congratulations to your web team and staff. Can't wait for the 2010 season to begin!

Hi Sara: I'm impressed. This is a long way from your Wizard performance in MS. This is so professional but at the same time aesthetically pleasing. All the best on the new season.

Beautiful new site for a beautiful place. Can't wait for the season to begin. A BIG thank you to all at APT for the wonderful memories of years past and the ones yet to be made during this and future seasons.

You've gotten good web site advice. It is attractively laid out, and eminently readable (no red text on black background or other web atrocities), and it loads quickly.
Special compliments on the schedule - unusually clear to read, well laid out, which is what users want. BUT ... it doesn't include post-show discussions (which I always try to make one of), full moons, and other enhancements to the APT experience that are in your printed schedule. Maybe that's part of what you have to work on. Otherwise, congratulations on a first-rate upgrade!

Wonderful site and THANK YOU for having your own box office and online ticket sales. APT just rocks!
By comparison, I just ordered tickets for a major show in Chicago and not only was their website AWFUL but I had to go thru Ticketmaster which was a REALLY unfriendly website -- and they added $62.11 in fees for 4 tickets (including $43.20 for "convenience" and 2.50 to print the tickets on my own printer!)

Beautiful new website! All it lacks is a quick way for us to link it to our facebook pages . . . hint, hint.
