Takeshi is returning for the eleventh season with APT where he has recently designed The Tempest, All’s Well That Ends Well, Henry V and Merchant of Venice. New York Credits include Outside People (Vineyard), Adding Machine, Orson’s Shadow (Barrow Group), Through a Glass Darkly, Storefront Church, Port Authority, Intelligent Design of Jenny Chow (Atlantic Theatre Co.), Doris to Darlene, B.F.E. (Playwrights Horizons), Gone Missing (The Civilians), The Attic (Play Co.) and Pullman Car Hiawatha (Keen Co.). Regionally Takeshi has worked at Alley, Cleveland Playhouse, Dallas Theatre Center, Ford’s, Geffen, Goodman, Hartford Stage, Long Wharf, Mark Taper Forum, Old Globe, Steppenwolf, Williamstown and Yale Rep. He has won an Obie and has been nominated for a Drama Desk award, and is an Assistant Professor at University of Southern California, School of Theatre.
