Robert returns for an eleventh season at APT where he has designed costumes for All's Well That Ends Well, The Winter’s Tale, The Belle’s Stratagem, Timon of Athens, Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, Othello, The Tempest, Phédre and King Lear. His sets and costumes have graced stages in London, Vienna, New York and many of the major regional theaters in the United States. As a founding Associate Artist at The Old Globe Theater in San Diego, Mr. Morgan has designed scenery and/or costumes for over 45 productions. Premieres include The Full Monty, Imaginary Friends and How the Grinch Stole Christmas, all of which enjoyed Broadway runs. He has been honored with two New York Drama Desk Awards for Costume Design.
