2009: title role in Henry V, Polixenes in Winter’s Tale, Angelo in Comedy of Errors.

2008: Prince Hal in Henry IV; The Making of a King, Henry in Widower’s Houses, Lysander in A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

2007: Percival in Misalliance, Bassanio in Merchant of Venice, Painter in Timon of Athens.

2003: Ferdinand in The Tempest and Freddy Hill in Pygmalion.

Chicago Credits include: Desmond in A Life (Northlight Theatre); Titus Andronicus (Court Theatre); A Life in the Theatre, A Christmas Carol (The Goodman); All Night Strut (Marriott Theatre); Mrs. Warren’s Profession (Remy Bumppo Theatre); Polish Joke (Noble Fool Theatricals) As You Like It, Othello, Measure for Measure, The Merry Wives of Windsor, The Moliere Comedies, Short Shakespeare! A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Juliet in Shakespeare’s R&J all at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre as well as Henry IV Parts I & II which toured to the Royal Shakespeare Company as part of the RSC's Complete Works Festival in 2006.

Other recent credits include: title roles in King Henry V and Romeo and Juliet (Summer Shakespeare at Notre Dame); Sebastian in Twelfth Night (Actors Theatre of Louisville); A Christmas Carol (Indiana Repertory Theatre); Hay Fever and Cymbeline (The Utah Shakespearean Festival). Matt earned an MFA from the University of Delaware's Professional Theatre Training Program in 2003 and when not in beautiful Spring Green, Wisconsin, he resides in Chicago, IL with his lovely and talented wife Susan Shunk and their wonder dog, Chevy.
