Kate Buckley

Pleased to be back to APT for her fifth season, her previous credits include Exits and Entrances, Timon of Athens, Macbeth and Cymbeline. Kate’s credits include productions at The Goodman Theatre, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Utah Shakespearean Festival, Kansas City Repertory, Milwaukee Repertory, Clarence Brown Theatre, Madison Repertory, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Writers Theatre and The Next Theatre, where she served as artistic director for four years. Formerly a founding member of Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, she is currently a professor at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Kate has been honored by the Joseph Jefferson Committee on numerous occasions, has received two After Dark Awards for Outstanding Direction, a Distinguished Alumni Award Aurora University and Creative Research Award from the University of Tennessee.
