Director, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead
James is delighted to be here for his 17th season. This past summer he directed Heroes. In 2011, The Tempest, one of ten plays by Shakespeare he has directed at APT. He has done three plays by Bernard Shaw among his other productions here. He was the founding Artistic Director of Remy Bumppo Theatre Company in Chicago where he directed over 30 plays including six by Tom Stoppard and three by Shaw. He is the happy owner of Arcadia Books, a bookstore and cafe in downtown Spring Green.
